An Upper Darby restaurant closed over the weekend.
Perkins Restaurant and Bakery in the 700 block of Lansdowne Avenue near State Road closed Sunday.
On Monday, an employee, who declined to give their name, said staff had been offered positions at other Perkins restaurants in the area, including Northeast Philadelphia.

The front door was chained and a sign stating “this location is closed” was posted in the window.
The chain operates 290 restaurants in 32 states and two Canadian provinces, 85 company-owned and 205 franchised units.
A request for comment from the company has not been returned.
