Caring Communities announced it has received a $5,000 grant from the Scranton Area Community Foundation to directly support HIV/AIDS client care services for residents of Lackawanna County. This timely funding will strengthen critical services for individuals and families impacted by HIV, especially as the region faces ongoing reductions in public health funding. The grant will be used to enhance local service delivery, including care coordination, emergency client needs assistance and wellness-focused programming.
