Kyle Schwarber, of the Philadelphia Phillies, honored fallen Officer Kristen Yeager at the MLB Home Run Derby Monday night.

According to a social media post from Central Berks Police, Schwarber represented Officer Yeager by wearing a wristband with her name on it.

“It means more than words can express to Kristen’s family, our officers, and this entire community. We know Kristen would have absolutely loved seeing her name on baseball’s biggest stage,” the post reads.

The police then encourage Schwarber to launch a few “Schwarbombs” for Officer Yeager.

The post goes on to thank Schwarber and the Phillies for helping keep her memory alive.

Kristen Yeager, 42, was responding to assist a neighboring police department on Friday, May 29, when the police cruiser she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree, ejecting her from the car, according to the Berks County Coroner.
