Congressman Dan Meuser is honoring fallen trooper Michael Pahira.
Pahira was struck and killed by a tractor trailer on I-81 earlier this month.
Meuser plans to hold a moment of silence on the house floor around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday.
He’ll be joined by a bipartisan group of Pennsylvania members, including Rep. Chrissy Houlahan.
Meuser is also calling on lawmakers to pass the ‘Dalilah Law’.
The measure would prevent undocumented people from driving commercial vehicles.
Officials say the driver who killed Pahira, Michael Bon, is an illegal immigrant from Haiti.
