Rock the Block festival at The V-Spot Bar celebrates local musicians’ passion for music with live bands and raffles.
SCRANTON, Pa. — Rock and roll will take center stage next weekend as the Rock the Block music festival takes over
The V-Spot Bar. Rock the Block is presented by Rock to Remember, which is a nonprofit started in memory of Tony Berardelli of Scranton. Tony was a musician and loved rock and roll. He died last year from brain tumors.
Rock the Block celebrates Tony’s love of music with three different bands throughout the day.
There will be basket raffles, a 50/50 drawing, food and drinks.
Rock the Block is Saturday, July 18 from 1-8pm at The V-Spot Bar on Providence Road in Scranton.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Proceeds go towards brain cancer research, families battling brain tumors and providing scholarships for students pursuing music.
