ONTELAUNEE TWP., Pa. – A pedestrian is dead after an accident that closed a stretch of Route 222 in Berks County Tuesday morning, according to the Northern Berks Regional Police Department.
Route 222 northbound was closed at the Park Road exit. The highway has since reopened, according to the county’s Department of Emergency Services.
County dispatchers said the county coroner was called to the scene.
