A Lehigh Valley restaurant forced to close earlier this year after high winds blew off its roof will soon reopen.
The New Santiago’s Restaurant at 125 S. Third St (Route 309) in Coopersburg announced online it will reopen July 27 with a new menu and five, $25 gift card giveaways for people who engage with the announcement.
“Thank you all for your continued love and support,” the announcement said. “We truly appreciate our community and can’t wait to welcome you back.”
The New Santiago’s Restaurant operated in the same building as La Cocina de la Abuela until a severe storm blew the roof off in March. As of Thursday morning, La Cocina hasn’t announced anything online about its reopening plans.
Neither restaurant could immediately be reached for additional comment Thursday.
