DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Motorists traveling on Interstate 380 in Lackawanna County should expect delays Monday as PennDOT crews perform roadway repairs.
A lane restriction will be in place on Interstate 380 southbound between Exit 22 (Moscow) and Exit 20 (Daleville) from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 20, for patching work.
The work is weather dependent.
PennDOT is urging drivers to slow down and use caution when traveling through the work zone. Motorists should obey the posted speed limit, turn on their headlights, watch for signs and flaggers, and avoid distractions behind the wheel.
In areas with heavier traffic, PennDOT also encourages drivers to use both lanes of travel up to the merge point and alternate merging into the open lane using the “zipper merge” technique to help keep traffic moving efficiently.
