Plenty of people showed up at the final FIFA World Cup fan zone to watch Spain vs Argentina.
SCRANTON, Pa. — Soccer fans flocked to Scranton this afternoon for one final celebration.
The FIFA World Cup fan zone kicked off for its final time along Courthouse Square as Argentina faced off against Spain for the championship game.
While attendees originally came to Scranton to support their team, some are leaving the fan zone with more than just soccer in mind.
“You know the best part that I was thinking about…and just sit here and enjoy something together without being any kind of hatred. I think its beautiful,” said Mozima Vasery from Scranton
The official FIFA World Cup fan zone in Scranton was just 1 of 3 to be held in Pennsylvania.
