A 19-year-old Wyalusing man wanted out of Minnesota was apprehended Saturday in Dickson City, police said.

Officer Dylan Frazier observed a black 2007 Ram 2500 pickup truck drive past him in the borough around 4:57 p.m., and confirmed the vehicle had a suspended registration, according to a criminal complaint.

Frazier conducted a traffic stop on the 800 block of Main Street, and identified the driver as Parker Dalton Reeve, police said.

Reeve told police the truck didn’t belong to him and that the passenger owned it, Frazier stated in the criminal complaint.

When Reeve gave his ID to police, Frazier determined the man had an active warrant out of Minnesota for a felony charge of third-degree assault inflicting substantial bodily harm, two misdemeanor counts of fifth-degree assault, and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct stemming from an assault in the parking lot of a casino around 2:12 a.m. on May 17.

In the Minnesota incident, police observed a victim was injured and bleeding at the scene, having suffered significant facial injuries, officers said. A witness also informed police that the victim lost consciousness during the fight, and medical records showed he suffered a concussion, a broken nose and swelling to his face, according to a criminal complaint.

The victim identified Reeve as the suspect after being shown a series of photos, saying he was “100% certain,” police said. The victim’s brother also identified Reeve as the suspect, officers said.

Police charged Reeve, 56 Boxer Lane, with arrest prior to requisition.

As of Monday, Reeve remained in Lackawanna County Prison as bail was denied. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 14 at 10 a.m.
