A man died in a motorcycle crash in Perry County on Sunday night, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Troopers said James Snyder Jr., 28, of Millerstown, was riding a Yamaha motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road while traveling eastbound in the 1700 block of Shermans Valley Road in Spring Township around 8:10 p.m. According to police, Snyder went off the road and into an embankment for a short period of time. Investigators said Snyder then lost control of the motorcycle and rode back onto the road, where he was sideswiped by a Honda Civic that was traveling westbound. Snyder was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Investigators said he was wearing a helmet at the time. The driver of the Honda was transported to Holy Spirit Hospital with suspected minor injuries, according to troopers. Police said both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. See news happening?
