A restaurant chain for wraps, bowls and smoothies will soon celebrate the grand opening of its first Pennsylvania location in the Lehigh Valley.
Bango will hold the grand opening at 11 a.m. Thursday at 1042 Mill Creek Road in Lower Macungie Township, spokesperson Juliet Ciani said in a written statement.
It will be the first location outside of New York, she added.
Craig Schwartz, the head coach for men’s tennis at Lehigh University, previously said he would be the franchisee for the restaurant.
All of the chain’s other locations are in New York, according to its website.
Bango, originally known as Bango Bowls, opened its first location in 2017 in Massapequa Park on Long Island. The chain blends a “quick serve restaurant concept” with healthy foods, according to its website.
Menu items include salads, acai bowls, poke bowls, warm grain bowls and avocado toasts.
