The Lackawanna County Marriage License Bureau will host evening hours Thursday and on the fourth Thursday of each month through October.
Those wishing to make an application for marriage should apply online at lackawannacounty.org and then call 570-963-6702 for their appointment, as no walk-ins will be accepted. The $70 fee can be paid with cash, money order, credit or debit card or by a check made payable to the “Marriage License Bureau.”
Evening hours on the fourth Thursday of the next several months run from 4-7 p.m. The bureau at the county government center, 123 Wyoming Ave., Scranton, is also open during the evening hours for those seeking a certified copy of a marriage license for Real ID purposes.
