Erie News Now has learned of an incident that occurred at Better Baked Foods in North East Township on Tuesday evening.
According to authorities, one person is in custody and another was transported to a nearby hospital. That person’s condition is unknown at this time.
Erie News Now also obtained a statement the company sent to employees, which reads in part:
“Thankfully, no one was injured. Law enforcement responded quickly, the individual responsible was apprehended, and there is no ongoing threat to the facility.”
