Berks County officials urge caution after workers injured by hazardous trash
READING, Pa. —
Authorities in Berks County are urging residents to be cautious about disposing of hazardous materials after three workers in Reading were injured by items in trash bags.
Officials said some workers were injured by items such as glass that were improperly discarded.
“In a couple of cases, there were hypodermic syringes that injured workers handling them,” officials said.
