PITTSTON, LUZERNE CO. (WOLF) — A Pittston man has been arrested after investigators say he used incendiary devices to intentionally set multiple fires around an occupied home earlier this week.

The Pittston City Police Department announced Thursday that Bradley Rush was taken into custody following an investigation into the firebombing, which occurred during the early morning hours of July 15 in the 100 block of Market Street.

According to police, officers responded after receiving reports that incendiary devices had been discovered at a residence. Investigators determined the devices had been used to intentionally ignite several fires around the occupied home.

No injuries were reported.

Detectives, assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit, identified Rush as the suspect after what police described as an extensive investigation.

Rush was arrested on July 16 and charged with multiple arson-related offenses. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Ferris Webby, who denied bail. Rush was committed to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.

Police emphasized that Rush is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.

The investigation remains active, and authorities said additional charges or arrests are possible.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident or surveillance video from the area of the 100 block of Market Street during the early morning hours of July 15 to contact the Pittston City Police Department at 570-654-2425, ext. 1534.
