BUSHKILL TWP., Pa. – If you’re looking to brighten your weekend, we have the perfect “sunny” plan for you.
A local farm in Northampton County is reopening its “pick-your-own” sunflower season!
69 News Reporter Sydney Kay was in Bushkill Township with how thousands of their flowers are in full bloom.
Sunflower season kicks off Saturday at 10 a.m. This year is the fourth summer the farm is holding the event.
Brandon Krock, Owner of Fox Summit Farm, said the farm is an amazing place for families and friends to come out and enjoy plenty of photo opportunities.
In addition to taking in all the sunflowers, people can also check out food trucks on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The trucks are paired with wine or beer vendors.
“It’s just a great place to hang out, a beautiful atmosphere,” Krock said.
This year, the farm is also adding about two acres of cosmos, zinnias, and wildflowers.
Flowers come in all kinds of different varieties and colors.
The entry fee for people ages 13 and older is $8. The fee for ages three to 12 is $1.
For more information, you can head to the farm’s Instagram and Facebook pages, which are updated weekly.
