Rock the Block takes place at The V Spot in Scranton on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Hosted by Rock to Remember, this inaugural community music festival and fundraiser honors the legacy of Tony Berardelli through a day of live entertainment, community connection and charitable giving.
Created to celebrate Tony’s love for music and the community he cherished, the event will bring together families, friends, musicians and supporters for an afternoon of fun and remembrance. Guests can enjoy live performances from Black Tie Stereo, Strangers Rock and Destination West, along with food trucks, basket raffles, 50/50 drawings and activities for all ages.
Proceeds from the festival will support brain tumor awareness and research initiatives, as well as music scholarship opportunities for aspiring artists and musicians. The location carries special meaning, situated just steps from where Tony grew up in Scranton.
The family-friendly event will be held rain or shine.
