EASTON, Pa. — The City of Easton celebrated the history and contributions of people with disabilities Saturday.
People gathered in Center Square for the raising of the Disability Pride Flag.
It’s black with multi-colored stripes that run diagonally across.
The event is part of Disability Pride Month, which has been celebrated in July in the United States every year since 1990.
It was in July of that year that the Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law.
