ERIE, Pa. — The Jefferson Educational Society is inviting the community to explore the events and people that have shaped the United States during a special mini summit focused on American history.
The event will feature nationally recognized speakers leading discussions on pivotal moments and influential figures that have defined the nation. Topics include the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, life inside the White House from Franklin D. Roosevelt to Donald Trump, insights from the longest-serving chief usher of the Executive Residence, and a discussion highlighting the women whose contributions helped shape America.
Organizers say the summit offers an opportunity to reflect on the nation’s past, better understand the present and consider the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
