Pilates class in Clarks Summit raises funds for teen battling cancer

Clarks Summit Pilates class raises funds for Reagan, a Dunmore teen battling Ewing’s Sarcoma, supporting her family through 26 weeks of chemotherapy.

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. — A community coming together to help raise money for a teen who has cancer.

Organizers of a monthly Pilates class in Clarks Summit decided to give this month’s proceeds to a recent Dunmore High School graduate named Reagan.

Reagan has Ewing’s Sarcoma and was preparing for college this fall.

She is now in 26 weeks of chemotherapy. 

Proceeds are going to help her and her family.

“We’re a community that wants to help each other, we do everything that we can,” said Gianna Toth, “Yeah, I just can’t imagine like what the family is going through.” 

“Because the cost keep coming and you don’t really have a choice, you have to go through it so,” said Abigail Rhodes.

If you were not able to make it to Pilates, they also have a calendar raffle and are selling bracelets to raise funds as well.
