Two security checkpoints at the Philadelphia International Airport will be closed starting on Wednesday, Nov. 5, according to the airport.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is working with PHL officials to close the checkpoints at Terminal A-West and Terminal F.
Checkpoints at terminals A-East, B, C, D and E are scheduled to remain open.
Officials did not immediately say if the shutdowns were due to staffing shortages because of the ongoing government shutdown.
The airlines operating out of PHL have been aware of these changes and staff at the airport are scheduled to be available in order to help passengers to the available open checkpoints.
This is a developing story. Check back here for updates.
