The Scranton School District is hosting its inaugural Career Quest Camp this week at Scranton High School for intermediate school students. The district, through a Lackawanna County Workforce Development Board Business Education Partnership Grant, is holding the camp for students in fifth through eighth grades Monday through Thursday, with a focus on different careers each day. Wednesday featured healthcare. Other spotlighted careers include civil service on Monday, education and food service on Tuesday, and engineering and manufacturing on Thursday. Local businesses and organizations offer students information on their prospective options after high school.
