WILSON BOROUGH, Pa. — An Easton man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing another man after an argument, according to the Northampton County District Attorney.
Jhonathan Goevany Sandoval-Bardales, 21, of Easton is charged with one count of Attempted Criminal Homicide, one count of Aggravated Assault, one count of Terroristic Threats, and one count of Possessing Instruments of Crime, according to the DA’s Office.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Wilson Borough Police responded to the 1800 block of Fairview Avenue for a report of an altercation involving a knife, authorities said.
Upon arrival, police found two men inside the home. One of the men suffered a cut to his neck and was in and out of consciousness, officials said. That man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The other man, later identified as Sandoval-Bardales, was observed to have an injury to his face and was also transported to a local hospital for treatment, authorities said.
A large amount of blood was observed on and near the two men.
Upon further investigation, police learned that the victim and Sandoval-Bardales lived together at the residence, according to officials.
In the early morning hours of Tuesday, the two got into an argument that led to a physical fight, court documents said. Sandoval-Bardales then grabbed a serrated kitchen knife and stabbed the victim in the back and the neck, authorities said.
Sandoval-Bardales was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Jordan A. Knisley and was committed to Northampton County Prison without bail.
