DICKSON CITY — The annual Dickson Days celebration opens Friday and continues Saturday at the Eagle Hose Company grounds, 1 Eagle Lane.
The free two-day event offers family fun and an opportunity to support the Dickson City Civic Center, the Dickson City Fire Department and other local nonprofit groups. It will feature food, a beer tent, entertainment, a rubber duck race, a parade and fireworks sponsored by the borough. The rubber duck race supporting the civic center begins at noon Saturday at Riverfront Park, followed by the parade at 6 and the fireworks at dusk.
Dickson Days opens Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.
