The Sisters of St. Joseph Neighbor Network will be hosting a National Night Out event at Ruby Schaff Park on August 4, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The United Way of Erie County is partnering with the Erie County District Attorney’s Office to support National Night Out events, which are celebrations that bring neighbors together and strengthen relationships with first responders, community organizations and local leaders. These events have been supported by the United Way for more than 20 years.
These celebrations take many different forms, including block parties, cookouts, youth activities, safety demonstrations and community resource fairs.
The events are family-friendly and include food, entertainment and meetings with community leaders and representatives.

Academy Neighborhood Association at Baker Field at East 32nd and Holland streets from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Bayfront East Side Taskforce at Orchard Park on East Sixth and Parade streets from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Belle Valley Fire Department at 1514 Norcross Road from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Booker T. Washington Center at 1720 Holland St. from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
