Hope Rescue Mission is hosting the Patriot 5K on Nov. 8 to benefit homeless veterans.
The annual event at Gring’s Mill Recreation Center, 2083 Tulpehocken Road, Spring Township, raises vital funds for homeless veteran services at Hope Rescue Mission, supporting programs that provide shelter, meals, job training, and pathways to stability for veterans facing homelessness, officials said.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., with the race starting at 9. Walkers are welcome, making this a family-friendly event for participants of all ages and abilities.
“Our veterans have already served us all,” Robert Turchi, CEO of Hope Rescue Mission, said in a release. “Now it’s our turn to serve them—with compassion, dignity, and community. Together we’re helping heroes find their way home.”
