One man was killed and several people were injured after a crash in Pike County on Wednesday afternoon, state police at Blooming Grove said.
Troopers responded to West Harford Street in Milford at about 4:30 p.m., assisted by Milford borough police, Milford firefighters and the Pike County sheriff’s office.
According to state police, a tractor-trailer was speeding south on West Harford Street, lost control and struck a vehicle.
It continued south on the roadway and hit four other vehicles before coming to a stop on the east side of the road.
A passenger in one of the vehicles struck was killed and several others in the struck vehicles were injured, troopers said.
Police have not provided names of any of the victims.
Pennsylvania State Police Forensic Services Unit and Collision Analysis team conducted the investigation.
