Lois D. Bachman
OBITUARY
Lois D. Bachman, 90, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2026. Lois was the loving wife of Henry A. Bachman Jr., and they celebrated 53 years of marriage, prior to his passing in 2013. Born in Bethlehem, Lois was the daughter of the late Loftin R. and DeEtta (Shultz) Bodder. She and her husband were members of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Allentown. Lois worked as a cashier/hostess for Walp’s Restaurant prior to her retirement. Prior to Walps, she was an aide at Midway Manor Elementary School.
Surviving Lois are her children Todd Bachman and his companion Ellynn Schneck, and Kathleen, wife of Thomas Troutman. Additionally, she is survived by her grandchildren: Rebekah, Kate, Robert, Aaron, Francine, and Dominigue, and her great-grandchildren: Olivia and Valerie.
A private Graveside Service will be celebrated at a later date in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Lois’s memory to her church, care of the O’Donnell Funeral Home, 908 Hanover Avenue, Allentown, PA 18109.
