FLORENCE COUNTY S.C. (WPDE) — Authorities are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred early Thursday morning in the Scranton area.
According to officials, the crash happened in the 900 block of Sam Lee Road.

Investigators said the vehicle’s driver was the only occupant when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, according to the Florence County Coroner’s Office.
The driver’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
