Dupont VFW Post 4909 Sock Hop dinner-dance
Dupont VFW Post 4909 Home Association’s annual Sock Hop party, Sept. 12, post home, doors open 4:30 p.m., dinner served 6, and music, 7-10. Cash bar for mixed drinks, wine, beer, bottled water and soda, music by Luongo Brothers Band, $30/person. For tickets and reservations, see or call Bob at the VFW, 570-472-1152. Deadline for reservations is the Friday before the party. Tickets cannot be sold at the door. All PLCB regulations apply. Barrels will be out for the sock collection. Please bring calf socks (preferably white) for the veterans at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center and the VA Hospital.
