BETHLEHEM, Pa. — They have performed across the nation.

“Some high-energy, pop, alternative, synth-based fun,” said Patti Beranek.

And now they will be at the center of the Wind Creek Stage at Musikfest in Bethlehem.

“It feels really lovely to be here,” said Jean-Philip Grobler.

Grobler and Beranek with St. Lucia are opening for Third Eye Blind.

“I’ve actually never seen them live before, so I’m pumped to see some of their set,” said Grobler.

Grobler said he grew up listening to the band and is especially into their second record.

“I love how they went a little more progressive on that record, and that’s always been something to me as a musical artist kind of deal with the two extremes from the more poppy leaning music stuff because I love pop music and then leaning left of center and experimental,” said Grobler.

This will be the husband-wife duo’s first time at Musikfest.

“I love connecting with people and just feeling their energy and giving something back and taking, that exchange is a beautiful and energizing experience,” said Beranek.

An experience they are bringing right here to Bethlehem.

“I hope we gain some new fans, make people smile and dance,” said Grobler.

Third Eye Blind is scheduled to take the stage at 7 p.m.
