Police search for suspect in Pennsylvania Walmart shooting
Police are searching for Armani Waite, who is wanted for attempted murder and related offenses after a shooting at a Walmart in Glenolden, Delaware County, on Friday night.
Investigators said an argument between two customers led to approximately five to 10 shots being fired. Police reported that a female Walmart employee was struck in the calf, but her injuries are not life-threatening.
No customers were injured during the incident.
“The shots were extremely loud. It sounded like they were in the next aisle over from where I was just getting ready to head out. I just saw the crowd running exiting the back of the store. So I just followed the group and ran to safety,” said Lewis Moore, a Lansdowne resident who was inside the store at the time.
The gunman fled the store before officers arrived.
