Middlesex Township supervisors voting on largest AI data center project in Pennsylvania

Middlesex Township supervisors in Cumberland County will vote Wednesday night on land and sewage agreements for Pennsylvania’s largest AI data center campus, which has been under construction for months.

The project, located off Country Club Road, includes three data center campuses, a PPL substation, and 16 two-story buildings designed to house computer equipment.

Residents in the area have raised concerns about noise from the construction and plan to speak ahead of the vote.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the township municipal building.
