Archbald’s fourth hearing on the proposed Project Green Mountain data center campus originally scheduled for Thursday is canceled.
The borough announced the cancellation in a Facebook post Wednesday afternoon with a coinciding announcement on its website.
A new date in September will be announced, according to the borough.
Borough council was set to meet at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Valley View High School auditorium to consider Green Mountain 6 LLC’s application to build seven data centers on land east of the Casey Highway at the Stavola Quarry.
Each data center would be 65 feet tall with a 138,000-square-foot footprint, spanning nearly 271-acres of an L-shaped tract of land.
The borough’s announcement did not provide a reason for the cancellation, though it is now the second consecutive hearing for Project Green Mountain that has been postponed.
Archbald was initially supposed to hold the hearing July 13, but the borough rescheduled it at the request of the developer.
Council’s most recent hearing on the development was June 18.
