(WJET/WFXP) – The Book Club Blitz, a month-long series, takes place at the Erie County Public Library in November.
The series, for adults, teens and kids, is being offered to patrons who want to feel more connected with their local library with a fresh take on the book club experience.
There are various topics for kids and teens, offering discussions and trips that follow the theme of the chosen book.
LGL: Friends of the Erie County Public Library
Wild Reads: Family Book Club brings the Magic Tree House stories to young readers, following the story with a visit to the Erie Zoo. One More Chapter: Mary and the Trail of Tears enables readers to explore Native American heritage and engage with historical events.
The library is also hosting clubs focusing on the American Girl Dolls series and a Manga Book Club.
For adults looking to enjoy the book club experience, themes include Snug and Scary Book Club, offering stories that are just scary enough.
