LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. — Drivers will need to find a new route as the Theodore S Wind Bridge on St. Rt. 169 in the City of Little Falls is set to close for repairs.
According to the New York State Department of Transportation, the bridge will be closed to traffic between St. Rt. 5 and the Erie Canal Trailway parking area starting at 7 a.m. on Aug. 12.
The closure is expected to last about five weeks, depending on the weather.
A signed detour will direct motorists to use St. Rt. 5S, St. Rt. 167, Albany Street, South Ann Street and St. Rt. 5.
The Erie Canalway Trail parking, Empire State Trail and Erie Canalway Trail will remain open during the bridge work, according to DOT.
