After a busy stretch of seven tournaments in 10 days, the Bethlehem boys’ golf team got some much needed rest after picking up two more top-six showings this week.
The Eagles finished fifth in Wednesday’s Madison Central Invitational in Richmond and sixth in Tuesday’s Shamrock Invitational in Louisville.
In Wednesday’s Madison Central Invitational, Bethlehem was fifth behind St. Xavier, George Rogers Clark, Henry Clay and Madison Central.
Seth Greenwell tied for seventh as an individual, finishing with a 1-over 73.
Miller Osborne and Owen Horton each tied for 19th after a 5-over 77, while Kaden Puyear tied for 32nd after a 79 and Thomas Newton tied for 56th after an 86.
Bethlehem finished with a team score of 9-over 297 Tuesday, 14 shots back of winner Oldham County and runner-up St. Xavier.
Greenwell was the team’s top individual, carding an even-par 72 to tie for ninth overall. Osborne tied for 16th after a 1-over 73, while Horton and Puyear each tied for 26th after a 4-over 76.
Newton tied for 65th with an 83, rounding on the Eagles’ scorers.
