Early morning storms knock out power on Lake Erie islands, Reynold’s Corner neighborhood

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – More than 8,500 First Energy customers lost power after a storm passed through northern Ohio Monday morning.

Roughly 2,000 of those without power live on South Bass and Middle Bass Island.

An additional 2,100+ customers are without power in the Reynold’s Corner neighborhood.

The remaining outages appear sporadically throughout the entire northern edge of the state.

First Energy’s outage website shows that most outages are expected to be fixed before noon on Monday.
