A new restaurant will soon replace a former wings and sports bar in Hellertown.
Owner Alejandro Lopez said Gigi & Alex Restaurant will open by the end of the month at 605 Main St., where Wings on Main Sports Bar & Grille used to operate.
Named for Lopez’s children, the restaurant will serve breakfast through dinner with dishes such as pancakes, eggs, French toast, burgers, pasta and gyros — “a little of everything,” he said.
“Like everyone, that was my goal, my dream one day, to do my own restaurant,” said Lopez, who has worked for over 20 years in the restaurant industry.
Gigi & Alex Restaurant will be open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Wings on Main closed in late June. It had opened in 2019.
