MAXATAWNY TWP., Pa. – Long Lane has reopened in Maxatawny Township as crews work on a roundabout where the road intersects with Route 222.
The reopened stretch of Long Lane between 222 and Topton Road closed in mid-May for reconstruction.
This construction marks the fourth roundabout on 222 in Berks County in recent years.
PennDOT says the roundabouts have helped reduce congestion and backups and keep citizens safe.
The work is expected to be completed in September 2027.
