A Scranton barber shop supports Barbuti Kitten Academy’s one-year anniversary by donating proceeds from haircuts and beard trims to care for rescue kittens.
SCRANTON, Pa. — A kitten fundraiser in Lackawanna County is sure creating a lot of buzz.
“Cuts for Kittens” kicked off today at Loyalty Barber Shop and Shave Parlor of Scranton.
The event along Adams Avenue featured haircut and beard trim appointments, with 100 percent of the proceeds going toward care for vulnerable rescue kittens.
The event celebrated the one-year anniversary of the Barbuti Kitten Academy & Charm School.
“So this is our one year…and all the proceeds are going to go to the kittens in our care.”
Along with a trim, guests also had the chance to buy merchandise and enter raffles at the “Cuts for Kittens” event in Scranton.
