READING, Pa. – Part of Stonecliffe Recreation Area in Reading is open again, as a sewer main project enters a new phase.
Officials say a stretch of the Union Canal and Schuylkill River Trail is also open, but the skatepark and Monroe Street parking lot will remain closed.
The park has been off limits while crews work on a sewer main.
The work at the park started back in December. The area closed in March.
Officials also say the recent removal of the Bushong Dam has impacted the fishing dock, so that’s also still off limits.
