ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Allentown Planning Commission continued preliminary/final land development approval for a mixed-use property Tuesday afternoon at city hall.
The applicant, Real Star Properties LLC, is proposing a 132-unit apartment building, a hotel and an event center, along with 8,800 square feet of retail space, at 300-324 W. Hamilton St. This is the site of the former Banana Joe’s nightclub.
Planning commission Chairman Christian Brown said the applicant requested the continuance, which was then formally approved by a commission vote through tabling the proposal to a future date.
No discussion occurred Tuesday afternoon involving plan specifics.
