Pickup truck crashes into utility pole, disrupts traffic in Palmer Township intersection | Easton Area

PALMER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Palmer Township Police are asking drivers to avoid the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Northampton Street on Wednesday.

A pickup truck crashed into a utility pole there, bringing down power lines onto the roadway, according to officials. 

The intersection is expected to be closed for an extended period while utility crews respond to the scene.

Traffic is being detoured onto surrounding streets.
