Few showers and drop in humidity Friday; pleasant Saturday before storms return Sunday in south central Pennsylvania
Humidity will drop to more comfortable levels at the end of the week, before increasing again on Sunday.

A few spotty showers are possible before midnight. High-level wildfire smoke in the sky from the Pacific Northwest will linger in the sky this evening. Temperatures will drop to the upper 70s this evening, and humidity will remain slightly elevated.
If you missed the Perseid meteor shower last night due to clouds and haze, try again tonight. Conditions aren’t optimal, but you may be able to see a few meteors between partly cloudy skies. Lows will fall to the upper 60s and humidity won’t be as high.
Friday will feature partly sunny skies in the morning and partly to mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon, as low pressure passes through the Mid-Atlantic. A few showers can’t be ruled out, especially in southwestern counties. Humidity will be lower and more comfortable, and highs will reach the low-to-mid 80s.
Saturday is the pick of the weekend! High pressure will deliver mostly sunny skies and pleasant humidity levels. Expect highs around 84 degrees.
A warm front will move north early Sunday, leading to scattered showers and thunderstorms in the morning, along with higher humidity. There will be dry time Sunday afternoon, before another round of showers and thunderstorms arrives Sunday night into Monday. Sunday’s highs will reach the low 80s.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms wrap up Monday, as a cold front passes. Expect highs around 84 degrees. Tuesday will feature lower humidity and highs in the mid-80s.
It will turn stickier Wednesday, then more humid at the end of the week, with increased rain chances Thursday into Friday.
