Police investigation at Glassport home; multiple agencies seen at house

Council president says Allegheny County detectives are now handling the investigation

GLASSPORT, Pa. —

Unmarked law enforcement vehicles were seen outside a home in Glassport, Allegheny County, during a police investigation Friday night.

Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 video showed police dogs and investigators from multiple agencies going in and out of the house on North Monongahela Avenue.

In a statement, Glassport Borough Council President Anthony Colecchi said borough police responded to a call that “could involve” Glassport Mayor Keith DiMarco on Friday.

Allegheny County property records show that the house is owned by Keith DiMarco.

“Due to the nature of the call, the Police Department immediately contacted Allegheny County Detectives for assistance. They have taken jurisdiction over the matter and conducted an investigation,” Colecchi said in the statement. “The Borough has and will continue to fully cooperate with their investigation. Due to the ongoing investigation, no further comment will be provided at this time.”

Late Friday night, Allegheny County police told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4, “At this time, we have no information or statement to pass along.”

Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 has also reached out to Glassport police for a comment.
