Sherry Marie Judge
OBITUARY
Sherry Marie Judge, 79, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026.
Born in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Smith) Gerber. In 1972, she moved to Scranton, Pennsylvania, where she built her life and worked for JCPenney Telemarketing for 22 years.
Nothing brought Sherry greater joy than being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a proud “cheer mom,” rarely missing a chance to cheer from the bleachers at her children’s and grandchildren’s baseball games. Her family was the center of her life.
She is survived by her children, Thom Bell, William “Chuck” Bell, Angel Judge, Danielle Judge, and Kenny Judge; her beloved grandchildren, RandiLynn (Andrew) Conti, Patrick W. Judge, Christina Salerno, Tiffany Bell, Zackary Baldwin, Kabreya Baldwin, and Jared Bell; and her cherished great-granddaughter, Lyra Conti.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Tammy Bell; her husband, Ronald Judge; and her parents, William and Dorothy (Smith) Gerber.
The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, caregivers, and hospice staff whose kindness and compassion brought comfort during Sherry’s final days.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Miller Bean Funeral Home. A private family remembrance will be held.
