Erie County Legislature sessions add public comment

For the first time ever, a public comment period will take place during Erie County legislative sessions.

Public comment periods will now be part of every legislative agenda moving forward.

There will be one at the beginning and end of every meeting.

The legislative session begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Legislature Chambers in the Old County Hall.

Also, a public hearing is scheduled for the 2026 Erie County Budget on Nov. 17 at 6 p.m.
