LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. – Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley can also put more food on tables thanks to Weis Markets.
Today, the grocery store chain donated $65,000 to the nonprofit.
The money was raised as part of the company’s 18th annual Fight Hunger Campaign.
The funds are usually given in December, but Weis is doing it a month early to address an expected increase in food insecurity this year.
